At Dada King Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary for Wild Birds, our mission is to provide a safe, natural refuge for wild birds in the heart of the Arizona desert. Inspired by the unexpected arrival of our beloved pelican, Captain Pete, we are dedicated to the protection, preservation, and peaceful coexistence of avian species in a sanctuary guarded by loyal canine companions.

We seek to restore balance to the land, honor the memory of those who came before us, and protect the inheritance of future generations through stewardship, education, and advocacy. As a community-supported nonprofit, we are committed to conservation, healing, and hope—one feathered friend at a time.
